SALE! Here is a very early example of Canadian clockmaking. Arthur Pequegnat was a Swiss immigrant to Canada in 1874. He set up shop in Berlin Ontario (after 1916, Kitchener). The company produced clocks until 1941 when the need for war materials caused the company to go under. Production ran from 1904-1941. This arts and crafts model, a variant of the "Leader" is a very early model. Quarter cut oak in a simplistic design. Heavy brass hands & numerals. Eight day mechanical movement with gong striking. The clock has been fully serviced by The Clock Gallery. Overseas shipping to most major cities in Asia starts at $500.00 CDN/US dollars.
