CALLING ALL CLOCK & WATCH LOVERS!
The National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, (NAWCC) is looking for you. Vancouver Chapter 121 meets the first Thursday of every month (except August & January) at Heritage Hall, 15th. Ave and Main St. Vancouver. New members are more than welcome. Most meetings include an informative talk or video presentation, Tech Talk, and a display table. During the mart portion of the meeting members can buy, sell or trade items of horological interest. The chapter is building a library of clock and watch related reference books available for loan to members. They participate in regional and national meetings. Social events include a summer BBQ and a Christmas party. We also participate with local chapters in WA state in various events such as Multi-Regional Marts. Whether you are just beginning to be interested in clocks and/or watches, or if the condition is chronic, the club is a great place to meet people who share your interests in things horological.
Membership in the local Vancouver chapter requires membership in the national chapter of NAWCC. This membership entitles you to their glossy bi-monthly magazine which is packed with useful practical and historical information. The national organisation also has an extensive lending library and will help members with clock and watch identification over the web.
